They are hiring biochemistry graduates for their Principle Research Scientists for their Bioproduct Research and Development organization, involved in the production and commercialization of monoclonal antibodies and different types of therapeutic proteins and peptides.

Responsibilities

As a Principle Research Scientist/Senior Research Advisor, selected candidates will be engaged in the development and optimization of the purification processes involved in the production of recombinant therapeutic proteins, control strategy development and technology transfer to the manufacturing sites.

Selected candidates have to lead and design and interpret appropriate protein purification experiments to drive defined and optimized downstream processes for the production of recombinant proteins and active pharmaceutical ingredients. They will also require designing experiments to predict and control the impact of physical and chemical processing on recombinant protein purification and quality. Providing coaching, training, and administrative performance management to the personnel is also a part of their responsibility.

Additional skills

However, selected candidates must have some additional skills and preferences such as general knowledge of biochemistry especially protein chemistry and protein purification, understanding of issues associated with protein purification processes and statistical analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills with effective writing and communication skills.
